My research career began with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Honors Major in Bioarchaeological Anthropology. I continued my academic career with a PhD focused on the interaction of genomics, physiology, and evolutionary biology at the University of Western Ontario. During this time, I developed a passion for scientific communication and spent time as a biology professor where I sought to prepare upper year undergraduate students for research careers.

Professionally, I have worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Oncology, collaborating with oncologists to design clinical trials, develop biospecimen methodologies, and conduct laboratory processing. What started as freelance statistical analysis in sports injuries and retrospective oncology studies grew into a passion from which scIQ R&C was born. My work has always been driven by a commitment to precision, clarity, and impactful results.
